Hating someone for their sexual orientation, a lot of black people really hate homosexuals. Some even go as far as not acknowledging them as people. But it’s not just black people, Arabs, Spanish, Asians, Africans, and many more. But there is a problem with this picture. What is the problem you say? Everyone hates on everyone for something that they just are. No one person can just change the fact that they are gay and start dating the opposite sex without having some feeling towards the same sex. The same as no one person can shed their dark pigmentation and switch from black to white. Before I go any further, I honestly do believe that homosexuality is something deeper than just a choice. Moving on. It is wrong and ignorant to hate someone on the fact that they are different from you. Are you so afraid of their differences that the only way to control your fear is by inflicting pain and showing hatred? The same way that you can not control the fact that your skin tone is a little darker, or your eyes are a little smaller, or the that everyone think your lazy and you and all your 15 cousins can fit in a convertible, or even the fact that everyone mistake you for a terrorist. These are things that can not be helped. You don’t like people hating you for where you’re from or what someone that’s from the same general area did, so why should you hate on someone that is simply obeying what their instincts tell them to do. So stop and think the next time your going to make a joke about homosexuals, because I'm sure you would not laugh if that joke was about your race/skin tone/driving skills/work ethics.
Everyone wants to work hard, get paid, go out drinking on Friday nights, and go home to the one you love. But unfortunately this world is full of hate/crime/lies that their will always be something trying to stop you from reaching your goals/completing your dream. The only advice I can offer to the bullies is to put yourself in their shoes, how would you like it? And to the bullied keep your head up, like your mom always say “sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me” but in some cases words hurt more than sticks and stones lol. Remember before we are Black/white/Asian/Spanish/Arabic/gay/straight/ we are all humans
